Around the UK


VI Tennis is played around the UK and new clubs and groups are forming all the time. Here are some VI Tennis sessions around the UK that we know about. Berkshire County Blind Society run VI tennis at Woodford Park Leisure Centre, Woodley, Berks RG5 4LY on alternate Fridays 4pm to 5.30pm. They have 2 qualified tennis coaches Richard and Carl and the exclusive use of 5 badminton courts as well as a number of sighted volunteers and occasionally play at Windsor LT Club on mini orange. Contact Jeanette Stacey at or by phone on  0118 987 2803.

Cambridge and Hertfordshire

Vision4Growth are now delivering two adult sessions : Tuesdays, 11.30am to 2pm, Hills Road Tennis Centre, Cambridge and Hertfordshire from 7pm to 9pm on Thursdays at Gosling TC. Metro (London)

ITC Friday sessions are for the partially sighted players. NTC Friday sessions are for the advanced players. North East Visually Impaired Tennis Club

NEVITC run sessions every Sunday at the Northumberland Club, Jesmond, Newcastle. Our regular Sunday session is 2pm to 4pm but this can vary. There is a session at Sunderland Tennis Centre every other Friday. NEVITC coaches also help deliver a VI tennis session at Splash Stockton every Wednesday from 4pm to 5pm. Sound Tennis Sussex

Sound Tennis Sussex have a range of sessions in Brighton and Hove, including coached sessions at Virgin Avtive in Falmer, social tennis at the King Alfred Leisure Centre and sessions at Pavilion and Avenue Tennis Club.
